Fake Exposures

Here are a few photos I took today while swimming through the atmosphere. I almost forgot about the summer humidity…

Self Portraits

Last night I dusted off the camera and started messing with long exposures again. These were mostly created in camera, color was finessed  in PS. I was in an odd mood last night, i think these are illustrative of that. hehe…

Exposures and Updates

It’s been too long since the last update, and have been too busy running around and working late nights.  Just last week I finished a project that I had been working on for a couple of weeks. I was working for Bishop, who was hired by Heavy.com, who was contracted by the US Army to create a short animated film about strength. So by three degrees of separation I was working for the Grand US of A. Glad to serve my country!

The production schedule was ridiculous. There were somewhere around 25 shots in total, and all of which were started and completed in two and a half weeks. And that’s with just the two of us working on it. I came close to loosing my mind, and I’m pretty sure Bishop did.

Now I’ve moved on to a personal project that I’ve posted some about in the past. The project is still in its infancy and is now entering the first stage of visual development. I’ll try my best to keep you all informed, but so much is still up in the air. For now, here are a few recent photographs.

Last night I was inspired take some photographs at the top of Mount Pollacks, which is only a two minute walk from where I live. Here are the few that came out well. I desperately need a tripod… Below I am posting a few other long exposure photos from about a year ago.

Beautiful Concrete

Of Beijing’s modern architecture, the apartment buildings are the most interesting. They are full of facets, indentations, and overhangs that make each building unique and geometrically beautiful. Here are a few photos I’ve taken since I first arrived last July. View the complete album here.

Sorry for the gap in posts. Work was pretty busy last week.
